Making memories for our young family as we live with Motor Neurone & Fabry's Disease

Ok so after my previous rather lengthy post I thought it was time for something slightly more light hearted.

In the summer we have got up to quite a few things, but here are some of the things that we hadn’t mentioned. I have  been in the racing car at Silverstone, going to dalby Forest on the Stickman Trail and visiting stockeld Park in Harrogate.

Having a second go in the pure motion race car was absolutely fantastic and was offered by pure motion as a gesture due to the fact the camera failed on the 1st race day. It was Silverstone race circuit as opposed to donnington and as normal the guys that were brilliant, the experience was brilliant, I coped well with the GeForce and as you can see from the video we didn't hang around.

Our trip to dalby Forest was again an absolute brilliant day and the weather was fantastic, we met up with some friends and their three children. The need for a four wheel drive wheelchair was more than evidence and that I had to be rescued several times as I got stuck. We ended the day with a barbecue and also it was a nice send off for my carer Amy who is now going to do a course in nursing.

Bank holiday Monday saw us take a trip to stockeld Park in Wetherby with my sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew, we had a fab day and again the weather was great, all the kids enjoyed themselves eating ice cream and playing on an adventure playgrounds. Just as we thought it wouldn't get any better we ended the day with fish and chips by the river. As you can see from the pictures below we made some great memories.
